Privacy Policy
Shot Done is designed to make screenshots useful while keeping their contents private. Screenshot understanding and organization happen on your device. Shot Done does not require an account and does not sell, rent, or use your information for advertising or tracking.
Photo Library access
With your permission, Shot Done accesses screenshots in your Photo Library so it can display, organize, search, and process them. You can grant Full Access or Limited Access and change that choice at any time in iOS Settings.
Shot Done requests deletion from Photos only after you explicitly choose Delete and confirm Apple’s system prompt. Shot Done does not silently delete photos.
Screenshot content and metadata
Shot Done may process screenshot pixels, recognized text, QR codes, barcodes, links, dates, contact details, locations stored with a photo, and other contextual information needed to provide organization, search, and suggested actions.
This processing uses Apple frameworks on your device. Shot Done does not upload screenshot images or extracted screenshot content to our servers.
Reminders and notifications
If you create a reminder, Shot Done stores its title and schedule on your device and asks iOS to deliver a local notification. Notification permission is optional and can be changed in iOS Settings.
Information stored on your device
Shot Done stores its local Library records, Collections, pins, saved Actions, reminder details, extracted context, and setup preferences on your device. This information is used only to provide the app’s features.
Deleting a screenshot through Shot Done removes the associated Shot Done record after Photos confirms deletion. Uninstalling Shot Done removes its locally stored app data. Screenshots that remain in Photos are controlled separately through the Photos app and iCloud Photos settings.
Data collection, tracking, and third-party services
The current version of Shot Done:
- Does not create user accounts.
- Does not include advertising or analytics SDKs.
- Does not track you across apps or websites.
- Does not sell or share personal information.
- Does not upload screenshot content to Shot Done servers.
When you choose an action such as opening a website, Maps, Mail, Phone, or another system service, that destination processes information under its own privacy policy. Shot Done only opens that destination after your action.
Children’s privacy
Shot Done is not directed specifically to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If Shot Done’s data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated before the changed version is released.
